HONG KONG, CHINA—SPACE SHOW MUSEUM
For my school project, we were tasked with creating an identity, print item, and event passes for a randomly selected event in a randomly selected city. I had gotten a Space Show Museum in Hong Kong, China. For the branding I wanted to go with something mono-weight, and reflecting space patches. At the same time, I wanted it to have some Chinese writing in the branding to accomodate for the location the event is in.
This pamphlet is something that would be able to be distributed at the event, and also printed by the consumers. The pamphlet is meant to be folded into four sections and unfolded when reading through the sections. I use the repitition of the logo throughout all of my pieces in different ways. On here, it is used on the outsides of the pamphlet in alternating colors.
Going along with the repeating usage of the logo, I thought it was fitting to have multiple posters as opposed to just a single poster. The posters are meant to be set up side by side in order. The photos used in this are photos provided by the official NASA website.
For the event, I made 6 pieces of merchandise. I wanted to follow a scheme similar to the established branding, but be creative with it. I felt I could do something less constraining that consumers would enjoy wearing.
